Amy is one of our Graphic Designers and has been part of the ZA team since undertaking her apprenticeship with us.
Following-on from schooling both at the Sacred Heart of Mary Girls School and Hedingham Secondary School, Amy began her career by becoming an Apprentice studying Social Media becoming moving-on to Creative Media, a subject much closer to her heart and aligned with her passion for design.
Working hard to complete her coursework and pass exams whilst undertaking paid work was a great way for Amy to develop into her design skills in a commercial environment where she could get the support she needed from Colchester Institute and Zero Above alike. Amy now applies this groundwork each day to tackling the range of branding, print and digital projects she undertakes.
One such project was an identity project for a property development company. Amy took hold of this project, delivering great concept work based on audience research, then produced a set of materials to create a brand identity and drive awareness.
When asked what it's like working at Zero Above, Amy commented "I love it! Starting as an apprentice has really given me an insight into the creative agency environment and eased me into the world of design and marketing. I was lucky enough to then be offered a position as a Graphic Designer and I've learnt so much in the time I've been here."
In her spare time Amy likes to socialise with friends, keep-up with design trends and loves long walks with her dog Bonnie.
